The Haps

Jake and I went to Colorado for a week to see the fam and my friend Ellie who was visiting from BYU-H. We rode bicycles and were caught in a thunder and lightning storm. I used to love thunder and lightning, but not when I am pulling my baby boy behind me in a bike trailer. I have never been so scared. Thankfully, our prayers were answered and we made it home safely.

It was a fun trip, but a bit rough as Jacob has been weaned. I would have love to breastfeed more, but I want to get Lasik eye surgery and you have to be non-lactational for 6 weeks.

In other news, I had my 6 month follow up for the needle stick injury. Still no Hep-C. Hallelujah! Now that is over.

Jacob is getting 2 more teeth and whining up a storm. We have been tempted to put him on the street like this:
But then he helped me make lasagna so I decided against it.

I love love love that last pic.

Your husband and I would have been a terrible duo....I have no brains when it comes to spending...good thing my hubby does.

You are so funny. I feel like leaving my kids on the corner pretty often, too.

Ugh, finances. I wish I never had to think about money--not only that we always had enough, but even that bills etc. were just magically taken care of. I would love it if I didn't feel the need to check my checking account compulsively throughout the day.

That picture is the funniest! It is great that Little Jake had that look on his face as well.

Congrats on no Hep-C. I was wondering when you had to get tested again. I am glad that ordeal is over for you.

Take Care.

You're too funny! And Jake's too stinkin' cute! What a doll. Anyway, don't feel bad about Eli's spending.....I don't think Kyle's ever heard of the word 'finances' in his life. Talk about clueless.:)

I love that last picture of poor little Jake! We'll take him!
And how nice to finally not have to worry about the test results!

I love the picture! I know how teething is. Austin had four molars coming in at once. And thanks Bri for passing on the message. I told you (Janel) I'd forget!!!
