Next, Jacob has been working on crawling, only backward not forward.
Also I got fed up with our apartment. I started looking to move and then just decided it was much easier to redecorate. Three cheers for IKEA in Portland. Yay! Yay! Yay! Cool stuff, great prices, and NO sales tax.
I just got off from working 4 nights in a row so it is 3:30 am and I can't sleep. Switching back and forth from nights to days is such a challenge.
P.S. I made this cake earlier today. If you have old bananas to get rid off-- I highly recommend it.

So, I think that I want to try making the banana cake! It looks so good! It's not too hard is it?
It looks like you guys had tons of fun on your trip! We were going to go to Hawaii before we had kids and then of course I got pregnant and we didn't have insurance, so we decided not to go, so we could save our money.
Speaking of the banana cake, I tried it. THe toothpick came out clean, so I took it out and put it in the freezer like instructed, and when I went to take it out, the middle had fallen. Evidently wasn't done. I frosted it and tried an edge piece, and it still tasted good. The middle wasn't doughy, just heavy. Then I realized after all this, I forgot to add the buttermilk!! Oops! Now that we're in our new home, I'll try it again, and hopefully get it right.
