-Lauren came for a few days last week. She watched Jake while Eli had finals and I worked. It is nice to have family available. Jacob loved the coconut creamcicle. Too bad she had to leave to go get a real job.
- We went to the beach over the weekend. For those of you who have never been to the beach in Washington I must explain that it isn't the warm sand, warm water, sunshine filled sky that most often think of. It is a cold, windy, over cast, gray filled day, but fun none the less. The campfire on the beach and singing songs was the best part.
-In other news, Jacob can finally wear his " I make crawling look cool" Shirt because he is officially crawling, not rolling or scooting actual hands and knees crawling. And yes, I must agree he does make crawling look quite cool.
- And the final story, Jake French-kissed George. It was too graphic to post, but lets just say Jacob is one handsy kid.

Way cute shirt! How lucky to have your sister come stay and help for a little bit. And big sigh of relief about the test results!
Lauren is so pretty. It is crazy how everyone is growing up. Jacob is getting so so big. I am glad things seem to be going well for you. It is great to have help from family. Our family has helped us out a lot lately babysitting Boston while we finish up school and while I am taking my summer courses. We wouldn't be able to do it all without their help. Hey, are you still working four days in a row? I was looking at my teaching schedule and it looks like we have a Fall break on October 16 and 17 (thurs and fri) and I am wondering if we may be able to schedule some sort of vacation around then. Whether it be us fly out to your house, or if we all meet at your parents house in Colorado. I don't know. Just a thought, but maybe that is something that we can start planning so it can happen. Let me know what you think. Sorry this is so long I guess I could have just e-mailed you. Take care.
The kissing story is great! I can just imagine Eli laughing and Hi-fiving Jake. I bet it was a proud papa moment. Hahaha
The Curious George picture made me laugh right out loud. I love the way Jake's looking at him. Too funny!
