Trying to find order in life after experiencing chaos

I am embarrassed to say this is the only "professional" photo I have ever done for Jacob. I am cheap. My mom offered to pay for it. How could I resist?
He's a cutie. And, if it makes you feel any better, I've never gotten "professional" pictures of my kids, and Molly is almost 3. I just have some very talented friends and family get pictures for me whenever I see them.
How cute! I love the picture. I know how it is. Pictures can be expensive. My Mother-in-law paid for the last time I took Cadence into get pictures done. That was before I had 2 kids. That tells you how long ago it was for me.
Janel, I love the picture of you when you left me a comment. It looks like a scene from the Sound of Music. I keep trying to figure out a time when we can escape our busy lives of St. George to have a fun vacation with the Hillstrom's. I thought Labor Day would work, but I won't get my first pay check from teaching until the end of September. Check into it to see if Eli will have a fall break around the 16th and 17th of Oct. and maybe we can make something happen. Joanna's due date is the 17th, but that is the only time we will be able to get away until after Christmas So maybe we can get something figured out for Oct. when the weather is still nice. What a cutie. Yeah I'm a cheap skate too-but pictures are so expensive. Every time you go you could easily spend over $100. I've only taken Ethan once and he's 2.
Oh no, if Kyle reads this he'll never let me get pictures again!:) They are ridiculously expensive though, aren't they? Anyway, since we're pretty much full blown hicks, I really like the picture.:) Jake's adorable!
