You may have wondered where I have been (or not, this blog really isn't too interesting). I have been putting my nose many a books, studying like mad for my family nurse practitioner exam. After much prayer, study and help from family I have the good news that I passed. YAY. I only have to take it once as long as I keep up with continuing education. Now what's next? Cleaning out the pantry, blackberry picking, planning a one-year-old boys birthday party.

I wish I could capture the squeal that goes along with this face. It's his new thing.

He's a cutie...I remember my little brother's squeal when he was younger, he sounded just like a little girl!
Congrats on your test! I can't believe Jacob is going to be one soon.
Since you brought it up, do you have any opinions on doing a VBAC?
CONGRATULATIONS! I know what it feels like to pass those certification tests...however, I don't think mine was nearly as hard as yours. I am so excited to be a teacher. It has already been a lot of work this week, and school starts next week....YIKES! Ian watches Boston in the mornings, and April (nathan's wife, my sis-in-law) watches Boston in the afternoon. It has worked out well so far, I just hope it continues to go as smoothly, we'll see when Ian starts school again. Happy Birthday to your little Buck-A-Roo in a couple weeks. Crazy how time flys. My suggestion, don't do a big sha-bang of a party, do something small and simple so you can enjoy it too. We did a big party for Boston at the park and I didn't have time to sit and visit with everyone because there was too much going on. My partys from now on are going to be cake and ice cream at the house, so I can enjoy the day too. It's only fair, it's my birthday too. ;) Take Care. We'll catch up again real soon I hope.
Congrats, what an accomplishment! And I think your baby is cute, so very cute!
Awesome job passing the exam! I took the cake MA certification exam 4 years ago and cried before I went in I was so nervous I'd fail. I can't even imagine doing this one, I'm so impressed with all of your accomplishments!
I can't believe Jacob is going to be one year old! Time really flies, but I'm sure it feels like you can't remember life without him :) One thing that we did for both kids (and will with subsequent) is had paper and pencils and had guests write a letter to them to be read on their 18th birthday. I put all the letters in a box and stored it away until then. It's a little hoky, but when I think of ppl like my grandparents that won't be around when they are 18, it means a lot that they get a special message from them. Can't wait to see how it goes!
I just wanted to tell you congrat! It makes you feel so good to pass something you have been studying so hard for.
Your little guy is such a cutie! They grow so fast don't they! Sometimes I am so excited to see the new things my kids will learn I forget to enjoy them now!
