-Can't sleep cause I worked last night and I am anxious about starting the new job next week.
- I also am working on the last book of the Twilight series. I think they are entertaining books, but they make me feel like I don't worship/examine every tiny feature/love my husband enough and .....that my sex life is lacking. Darn that Bella Cullen and her sleepless nights.
-I have an appointment to get Lasik eye surgery later this week. I have been in glasses and or contacts since 3rd grade-- almost 18 years-- holy cow that is a long time. If I go blind I'll be ticked.
-Got a bad haircut due to the lack of vision as my glasses had to be off during the actual cut. I told the girl, "just a trim" she interpreted that to mean, "short freaky layers on top, bangs like a 5 year old girl and leave the bottom how it is". The joy of a $14.oo "Super Cut."
-Jacob's still not walking, but he has 3 teeth. Pretty accomplished for an almost 14 month old. I keep pushing our heads together in hopes that I'll get a vision of his baby dreams. No such luck.
At least he's cute.

wow! only three teeth! I wonder if they will all come in at the same time...yikes! He sure is looking big in his pictures though!
What a cutie. I'm jealous of the three teeth. Austin has 11. But I guess that means that his grumpy teething is mostly behind him, maybe, for a little bit. And he's nearly running and won't stay out of ANYTHING. The terrible twos seem to be hitting for this bad boy. Hopefully yours isn't there yet.
I know exactly how you feel about getting a horrid haircut from supercuts... I refuse to go there anymore because of my last cut where the chick cut off about 5 inches too many and my hair wasn't that long to begin with... so I am waiting to no longer look like a 12 yr old boy! It kinda makes you wonder how they ever got hired anywhere in the first place.
Oooh Weezer. That sounds fun. A concert would really hit the spot right now. How was the teenager situation? That is what keeps me away more than anything (Like for the Death Cab For Cutie concert here a few months ago).

I'm so jealous you went to Weezer! They are playing in Austin on the 20th and we totally wanted to go, but we can't since it's on a Monday night. Neil has class. Boo hoo!
Good luck with the Lasik. I totally want it too. How would it be to wake up in the middle of the night and actually be able to read my alarm clock?!?

And good luck with Lasik! Don't worry, we have patients come in all the time for their first exams after Lasik and none have come in blind.. yet.
