It had to end

All our excitement and vigor for working on our new house came to an end last week.
Eli was laid off.
Life stopped for a few days.
He is diligently looking for work every day.
You hear all about the recession, but it never really hits until
it affects you.
I hope this economy improves quickly.

Oh bummer! That really stinks. That really is my fear and why we haven't taken the plunge yet and bought anything. Good luck with the job hunt. I still can't wait to see house pictures!

I'm sorry guys! That totally sucks! Hopefully he can find something soon. Let us know if we can do anything.

What line of work is he in? We'll keep our eyes and ears open. It's all about networking these days I tell ya!

Oh no! So sorry to hear that. Believe me, I know how hard that can be. We are in the same boat, as are about 1/4 of our ward and a couple other friends. We are headed up to Utah later this month on a jobhunting trip, since we haven't found anything around here yet. Times are hard, that's for sure. Hope things look up for you guys soon!
