So we found out our son was breech a few weeks ago when I just happened to have an ultrasound around 32 weeks or so to evaluate his growth becasue I was measuring small.
At first it seemed like of little consequence, but 2 weeks ago we had our option laid out for us: planned cesarean or external cephalic version.
Not wanting a surgery or c-section with my first baby, we are going to try the version despite all other non-invasive measures of getting him to turn. We have a cephalic version scheduled for Monday August 20th and a back up cesarean for Aug 28th just in case he wont turn. After first meeting with the OB/GYN who is to do the procedure it was my understanding that they basically aggressively push on your uterus enough to get the child to turn and if successful send you on your merry way. However at our appointment on Monday the 13th we were told that if the version is successful they will induce labor right after so he does not have a chance to flip back the wrong way. WHAT!!!!! Have this baby in a week?????!!!
Eli and I are overwhelmed and anxious to say the least. I was ready to be pregnant for another couple of weeks since my due date is the 4th of September. I am not ready to be having a baby on Monday, but maybe our son is ready to join us --- we shall see what happens in 4 days. I'll keep you posted.

What a cute belly you have! And yeah, you don't look big at all. Good luck with your version! Good call on trying this before having a c-section, too.
As for your questions, we live in SLC and Neil is majoring in Consumer & Community Studies. Basically that will allow him to go into either personal finance or consumer protection. He loves them both, so it will just be a matter of finding a job after graduation.
What does Eli do?
I had completely forgotten about that double date we went on! Was that the last time I saw you?
