#1- We were right in middle of a tornado on Thursday. It was so cool. I was sitting down, feeding Jacob and Eli wanted me to come look out the window. All of the sudden we heard such loud thunder, it sounded like a train right outside our door. Then marble sized hail came pouring down. Within seconds the ground was white with big chunks of ice. We live on the second floor of our apartment complex and our little patio was quickly filling up with water. Eli had to brush all the water away quickly so we didn't get water in our living room. It was so weird. Then my mom called to ask if we were okay because I guess it was all over the news. Little did we know we had just been through an F-1, quarter mile wide tornado.
#2- I switched to Progressive for our auto insurance and our premium went from $1200/6 months to $542/6 months. How cool is that! We have had Allstate for the 3+ years we've been married because it was the cheapest at the time. Allstate boasts that drivers get discounts every 6 months they don't have an accident. Well, we never had an accident but our rates went up each year. I was fed up and now I am thrilled to save some $.
#3- Jacob had his 4 month appointment and is 13 lbs even, 42 inches. he is in the 25th percentile for height and weight and 50% for head circumference. We think he is a genius baby. He did quite well with his immunizations. I am so grateful for baby Tylenol.
#4- My mom came for the weekend and bought Jacob a new wardrobe for the next 6 months. Old Navy was having a huge sale. Thanks mom!

Very cool indeed!
I love storms and I would totally be a storm chaser if it weren't so dangerous..
And holy smokes I can't believe you were paying that much for car insurance, we don't even pay that much a year!!
And yes, thank goodness for children's Tylenol, it's been my bff this week!
Those are all very cool things!
Nothing beats getting clothes from Grandma! I don't think we could have made it without the help of AJ's and my mom supplying the girls with a steady supply of clothes. :) I can't get over how cute Jacob is.
A tornado! Scary! But fun to say you lived thru. And score on saving lots of cashola on the insurance!!
I love Old Navy sales when Grandma is around!
I love saving money on car insurance!
I love your little boy!
Sounds like life is pretty good right now, minus the tornado ( which you make sound like it wasn't that big of a deal?!?) I think I'm going to go give progressive a shot right now... that is one HUGE difference! Thanks!
