5.
I Love how big he is. Today he weighed 5 lbs 15.2 oz. He gained 1 lb in 2 weeks. I am so proud of him. All the hard work with the feeding regimen is paying off.
These pictures show how big he is--larger than a banana and a loaf of bread. Pretty impressive.
4. I also love how small he is. Some sisters in the ward had a baby shower for me and another new mother on Saturday. The other newborn was 7 weeks old and 12+ lbs. I couldn't just scoop him up with one arm. It was rough, I had to use some muscles.
3. I love just looking at him. I can't get over how cute he is. The different faces he makes are so fun. I can't stop staring!
2. I love what a good boy he is. Jacob was babysat by his Uncle Andy and Brittany on friday night so we could go to the temple. I guess he was great. Didn't cry, just ate and slept. Whew!
1. I love that Jacob is ours. A special little person made by Eli and I. It is so cool how this whole children thing works. I am just amazed. I never thought I could love something so much.

Oh Janel he is beautiful! He is really filling out.
Isn't it amazing about parenthood? I've tried a few times to find words for it. It's just indescribable the feeling that it is to create a little person, and the LOVE is enormous. Doesn't it just reaffirm your testimony of the gospel every day?!
Those picture are so great! Congrats on him being bigger then some of your food, I'm impressed!
And good for you guys to leave him to go to the temple, that's awesome!
Good job Janel and Eli, he looks great!
he is so perfectly beautiful!
Having a baby is definitely amazing. Two people become one, and then one becomes two. Incredible!
I love those pics next to the banana & the bread. Those will be good reminders when he is a rambuncious two-year-old!
This is the cutest list ever. And I love the pictures. Isn't it fun having a tiny one? Granted, mine were never that tiny, but when Janie was born at under six and half pounds, I told my hubby how I felt sorry for those people who have big babies because I think it so fun when they are so teeny. Then I had to eat my words, because she got HUGE fast and was off the charts big within 6 weeks. Oh, well, small is fun while it lasts.
i love the size comparisons (spelling??). they are so FUN! and COngrats to Jake for getting bigger and bigger every week. Yay! i love the cousins pic. So FUN!! Your such a CUTE mom!!
I loved that he is bigger than a banana and your bread, so funny! A few people just had new babies in our ward and I look at them and look at Sydney and I am amazed at how fast they grow and change! All the pictures of him are so fun! Great post!
